Mission & Vision

I believe the voice is a sacred vessel.
Through voice, sound, and shared song, we remember who we are: whole, connected, and divine.

My mission is to create spaces where people can reconnect with their authentic voice, awaken their inner healer, and experience the joy of embodied presence. Guided by a spiritual calling from the Goddess, my work honors the harmony of the divine feminine and masculine within us and the vibrational intelligence of the Earth.

Voice is how we come fully into our bodies—how we anchor spirit into form.
Our voices hold the power to empower, to awaken our soul’s purpose, and to shape the world around us. Each of us is blessed with a unique voice, and through conscious voice work, we deepen our connection to ourselves, to the world, and to each other. When we come together in song and sound, we transmute energies that no longer serve us and open the path to gratitude, abundance, and heart-centered manifestation.

I envision a world where communities gather to sing, heal, and remember together—
Where sound is medicine, the voice is prayer, and every being has access to their own sacred resonance.

Who I am

I’m a voice and sound meditation guide, song circle facilitator, and the founder of Ground in Sound—a unique method that creates safe, joyful spaces for individuals and communities to explore sound, connect deeply, and return to presence. Known for my radiant energy and clarity in communication, I bring a grounded yet vivacious presence to my work.

My Journey

Music has been part of my life since early childhood, when I began singing in choirs at the age of eight. I studied Music and Religious Studies at the University of California, Berkeley (with a focus on classical voice), and later earned a Creative Writing degree from Florida State University.

A 12-year hiatus from singing, compounded by an unhappy marriage and unresolved childhood trauma led me to seek joy in music again. That return to singing opened my heart to a profound spiritual awakening during a trip to India in 2012, reigniting my deep connection with music.

From 2013 to 2016, I performed under the name Manjali Light and released my debut album Love Has Found Us. Today, I continue creating original music and community-based chants that honor the Earth and spirit.

My Training

I am a certified teacher of Silvia Nakkach’s Vox Mundi Yoga of the Voice and a graduate of the Integrative Sound and Music Practitioner program at the New York Open Center. I trained under Minna Sivola of Harmoniaalto and Lauren Waggoner of Soundology. My work draws from vocal meditation, vibrational sound therapy, mantras, and sacred chant—blending intuition with rooted, embodied practice. I am currently completing Heather Houston’s Sisters in Harmony Song & Chant Leader Training Program, further deepening my practice in community singing.

My Offering

Now based in San Mateo, California, I blend my background as a composer, facilitator, and guide to support others in becoming their own healers—through the power of voice, presence, and sacred sound.

My offerings empower people to awaken inner wisdom, release what no longer serves, and live in alignment with their true nature. When you work with me, you’re invited into a nurturing space of shared resonance—where transformation happens through community, sound, and the courage to speak and sing your truth.

“When we connect with the sound, we awaken to the healing forces within us, for sound carries the energy of creation.”
